The Dental House is expanding. We are delighted to be able to register new patients, both NHS and Private, to our evolving practice.

More patients mean more dentists and we have been recruiting! Only those we feel fit into our ethos and will offer the kind of care we expect for our clients have been appointed and we think we’ve done a pretty good job of hiring the right people to wear The Dental House logo! We would like to introduce you to our new staff members over the coming weeks…

Dr Kat Ryan

Dr Ryan started working for us in July and we have already had some great feedback from our current staff and patients. Here is a bit about Dr Ryan:

Kat graduated from the University of Liverpool Dental School in 2012 with an Honours degree and began her career working in General Dental Practice on the Wirral. She then spent a year working in hospitals within Merseyside as a Senior House Officer (SHO) in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery gaining experience in paediatric dentistry, surgical extractions and dental and facial trauma.

During her time as an SHO Kat also completed her postgraduate diploma and gained her Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery (MFDS) with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons Glasgow.

Kat has recently returned from Queensland Australia where she spent time working as a General Dentist and also working for Queensland Health Service providing dental care to patients with complex medical problems. Kat is interested in all areas of dentistry but particularly enjoys aesthetic dentistry, oral surgery and working with children.

In her spare time Kat enjoys music and playing the guitar, travelling the World, keeping fit and scuba diving.

We are confident that Kat will settle in well and become an important member of our team.
